Mind/Body
Harmony is the gentle art of conscious and
intuitive touch that invites the body’s innate healing
powers to be harnessed.
An
atmosphere of total safety, respect and compassion is
created, that allows
the body to communicate through memories, thoughts, feelings or images. Past
or current traumas, fears and problems, whether physical, mental or emotional,
which have been locked within the body's own memory bank (e.g. loss of a loved
one, health issues) can then be worked through and released.
It
seems as if the body is held prisoner by the mind’s evaluation
of an experience - either positive or negative, and that
evaluation has a direct impact
on its well-being. Although completely non-invasive, Body
Harmony can be a very profound experience of "letting go", thus
helping the body’s natural state of wellness to be restored.
